Resource Assignment Unit Time Phase

The Unit Time Phase selection in the project creation/edit modal controls how values are treated when doing a Resource Assignment import. 

• Full Duration - The value provided for the Resource Assignment will be considered the total value for all of the reporting periods in the provided range. 
  • If you provide a date range from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, a full year, the value of that Resource Assignment will be divided by 12 (months are equivalent to reporting periods). The result of this division will be used as the value for each reporting period (month) in the provided range. If the date range was January 1, 2020 to March 31, 2020, 3 months, then the value will be divided by 3.
• Monthly - The value provided for the Resource Assignment will be considered the monthly value for all reporting periods in the provided range. 
  • Regardless of the date range provided, the value given in the Resource Assignment will be used for every month in the date range.
