DAS-821: Quick Status: Add Activity Steps with Tracking
We have now added the ability for you to track Activities by Steps in the Quick Status. In order to use this feature, you must turn it on in the Admin > Projects > Edit Project > Quick Status Settings tab. Once turned on, a Steps icon will appear for each activity. If an Activity has Steps, then it's Revised % Complete is derived from the Steps automatically and will prevent users from changing the Activity's Revised % Complete manually (as it is now managed at the Steps level).
Bug Fixes
DAS-1269: Cost Summary Report: Adding WBS Level to Report Automatically Adds WBS Number Column
If you added a WBS Level to the Cost Summary Report, the WBS Number column would also appear. Also, the system now sorts ascending by the WP column.
DAS-1234: JavaScript Error When Adding New WBS Code
Users encountered a JavaScript error when attempting to add a new WBS code in the WBS Tree under the Admin section (Admin > Projects > Project Code Files > WBS Code File > Tree). The error occurred after pressing the Enter key to save the new code.
DAS-662: JavaScript Error During New Project Creation
Users previously encountered a JavaScript error when creating a new project without selecting certain optional fields, such as Code Files. This led to confusion, as those fields were not meant to be mandatory. A new project can now be created successfully with just the Project Name and Registry Set, which are the only required fields.
DAS-661: Compare Project Report showing incorrect difference data
The Compare Projects report was displaying inaccurate delta calculations between projects, sometimes showing discrepancies of up to 5 pennies. The decimal calculation logic has been corrected to ensure precise project delta analysis.
DAS-1235: Cost Estimating Form - JavaScript Reference Error
Users encountered a JavaScript error "Uncaught ReferenceError: gCostClassSchedule is not defined" when accessing the Cost Estimating Form (Budget > Budget Form). The Cost Estimating Form can now be accessed without encountering this JavaScript error
DAS-1244: Admin > Projects > Edit Project > WBS: Add Support for WBS Dictionary CAM Notebook field
In a previous release, we added support to the Budget > WBS Dictionary page so that you could have a CAM WBS Dictionary notebook field that would show a dropdown list of all of your CAMs. This feature did not work when modifying the WBS Dictionary from the Admin area. This bug fixes that issue.
DAS-1250: Spelling: ReSpread should be Respread Throughout the Product
Fixed a spelling error throughout the product.
DAS-1266: Importing New Resource Code with Associated CAM Field Filled in Fails
The Resources import actually had a couple of bugs that were fixed with this ticket. First, if you have CAMs Assigned to Resource Codes, then the Resources import would fail when creating a new Resource Code while also assigning a CAM to the Resource Code. Also, if the Hired Date column was in your import but never filled in, the system would also throw an error. Both issues have been fixed.
DAS-1252: Quick Status Rules throwing Silent Error on Edit Project Save
Every time a user saved the Edit Project form, a silent error was being sent in Dash360. The user never saw this error, but our monitoring was picking it up. We have fix that issue with this ticket.
DAS-1246: WBS Dictionary: Cannot Edit WBS Dictionary Items or View Entries when Selecting WBS
For some customers, if they selected a WBS or a Level from the filters, their entire WBS Tree would disappear from the page. This also prevented these customers from editing their WBS Dictionary from this page. This issue has been corrected.
DAS-1174: Missing Data Points in Earned Value Curves
There was a bug where if you selected a previous reporting period and a future period had EV data in it, then that future period would be exclude from the Budget data presented. This has been fixed. There also has been a bug fixed where if a project had a gap in Resource Assignment data for a certain time period, then the Earned Value Curves would not show a dot for that month. Also, if there was no EV data for a month, it would also show a gap. Now, the system makes up for that gap and uses the previous month's data in those cases.
DAS-1264: WBS Summary Report Duplication Caused by Overlapping User Permissions
Previously, users with overlapping permission levels—such as read-only access to an entire project and full access to a specific WBS—were seeing inflated totals in the WBS Summary Report. This was due to the system calculating and summing data separately for each permission scope. We’ve updated the WBS Summary Report to detect and handle overlapping permissions, ensuring that data is not double-counted. Users with both project- and WBS-level access will now see accurate and consistent figures.
DAS-1263: JavaScript Error When Creating Codes in WBS Tree (Admin Section)
Users encountered a JavaScript error when creating new codes or child codes in the WBS Tree from the Admin section. The error occurred after entering a new code and pressing the Enter key to save it. The WBS Tree has been updated to properly validate and handle code creation events. Users can now create parent and child WBS codes from the Admin section without encountering errors.
DAS-737: Importing of Resource Assignments Failure due to blank rows in the excel worksheet
Previously, when importing Resource Assignments, the system attempted to process blank rows in the import file. This caused errors that prevented the import from completing successfully. The import process has been updated to automatically skip blank rows, ensuring that only valid data is processed. Imports now complete without interruption when blank rows are present in the file.
