New Features
DAS-2129: Reporting Export for Timephase Data
Added a new "Reporting" export option for downloading timephase data as a CSV file. The export includes Resource Assignment information, Cost Estimate fields, Notebook entries, and Resource/Result Codes, with comprehensive filtering options including Project, WBS, Work Package, Resource Type, Cost Class, Fiscal Year, and Date Range. Perfect for using exported Dash360 data in Excel to build your own custom reports.
DAS-2132: Schedule Viewer Resources Pane Baseline Subtotals
If activities have a Baseline Start / Finish Date, you can now select "Baseline Subtotal" in the Schedule Viewer > Resources Pane and it will show you your Resource Assignment costs applied to the Baseline Schedule. Also, the selected Result Type is preserved when switching between tasks, and the Total column has been widened to prevent currency values from being cut off.
DAS-1975: Prevent Assigning Resource Assignments to Milestones
Milestone activities are now excluded from the Activity ID(s) dropdown in the Budget Form when adding or editing resource assignments. Additionally, the import process now validates resource assignments and rejects any that attempt to assign to milestone activities, displaying a clear error message to the user.
Other Enhancements
DAS-1934: Resource File Export Validation
Improved the Resource File export workflow by adding validation that prompts users to select a specific Resource File before exporting. This replaces the previous "All" option that could cause errors with large datasets.
DAS-2074: Streamlined Project Restoration with Real-Time List Updates
Enhanced the project restoration workflow with automatic list synchronization. When restoring a project from Inactive to Active status, the system now immediately refreshes and displays the restored project in the Active Projects list without requiring a manual page refresh or waiting for background processing to complete.
DAS-1971: Project Explorer: Enhanced View Management and Configuration Persistence
Enhanced the Project Explorer with improved view management capabilities. Users can now save custom view configurations seamlessly, and the system preserves all grid settings (grouping, sorting, filters, and column widths) when switching between Yearly and Monthly report types, eliminating the need to reconfigure the grid after each switch.
DAS-2138: Import Resource Assignments Duplicate Checker Skipping Negative Values with Parentheses Format
Fixed an issue where the duplicate row checker during Actual Resource Assignment imports silently skipped negative values formatted with parentheses (e.g., `(76.32)` representing -76.32). When merging duplicate rows, these negative amounts were not included in the total, resulting in incorrect values. The import now correctly parses and includes parentheses-formatted negative numbers.
Bug Fixes
DAS-2075: Rate Error Fixed an issue where viewing rates for rate sets with ampersands in their names would display an incorrect rate type label and show rates from all sets instead of just the selected one. The system now properly handles rate set names containing special characters, correctly displaying the appropriate rate type label and filtering to show only rates from the requested set.
DAS-2134: File Import Activity Logs Not Always Being Saved Fixed an issue where file import activities were not always being logged in the User Activities log. Import operations (such as Import Actual Resource Assignments / others) now correctly record activity logs (along with the file uploaded), ensuring administrators have complete visibility into import actions performed on the system.
